Emerson refines AgileOps software to improve operations management

Emerson Press Release
Emerson, a global software and engineering leader, expanded the capabilities of its AgileOps operations management software in its latest release. AgileOps Version 5 delivers enhanced functionality across reporting, interface, and business connectivity features to help users deliver value more quickly and easily across their operations.
To obtain the maximum possible efficiency of operations, a control system configured optimally for the state of the process is needed. AgileOps now helps users monitor operational performance more simply, with more tools and a more intuitive interface from the start.
Version 5 of the software replaces many long textual indicators with images that facilitate quick recognition of functions. This helps users quickly determine the actions they need to take, regardless of their native language or experience level. Additionally, error recognition is elevated to the application level and highlighted with color and symbol changes to ensure issues are identified more quickly.
The AgileOps performance analysis system has also been enhanced to offer more out-of-the-box features to help users get a quick return on investment. Teams can still fully customize their reports, but also have access to many other pre-configured reports, such as shift-announced alarms, database change logs, operator interactions, active alarm counts, and more.
Additionally, reporting has been enhanced with new features to help teams more quickly isolate the information they need, including a more flexible time range, improved content with more drill-down and filter capabilities, and a new alarm metric. per user in each area.
AgileOps Version 5 also adds new architecture capabilities to improve enterprise deployment. New functionality includes Open Platform Communications (OPC) UA (Unified Architecture) client connections for generic connections, as well as seamless OPC UA connectivity to Emerson's DeltaV™ security and distributed control systems.
