Ende strengthens the electricity service in Riberalta with 4 power generators

With the purpose of guaranteeing the electricity supply for the Amazonian city of Riberalta, the National Electricity Company (ENDE Corporation) strengthens the distribution network with four equipment power generators to provide the service with quality and reliability.

The generators that arrived in Riberalta will increase the supply of electricity generation by 4.8 megawatts, bringing the total effective power of the El Palmar Thermoelectric Plant to 19.7 megawatts (MW), which represents better technical conditions associated with the continuity of service with greater reserve power.

Another noteworthy aspect of the generators refers to the fact that they guarantee greater operational flexibility and in this way the quality of service evolves favorably to benefit users.

Currently, the Riberalta distribution system has more than 30,000 electricity supply contracts, which guarantee the provision of electricity to users who carry out various activities.

ENDE Corporación made multiple investments aimed at improving the generation and distribution of the Riberalta system with an investment of more than Bs 22 million in spare parts, improvements and adaptations in the energy production area. Likewise, the state company highlights that, on a permanent basis, they execute projects aimed at maintaining and improving distribution.

The commissioning of this new equipment is scheduled for September of this year, once the installation works and execution of the corresponding tests have been completed.

ENDE Corporación assures that it will continue working to strengthen the electrical system and will comply with the guidelines of the national Government, which plans to universalize access to decent and sovereign electrical energy for Bolivian households.
