Environmental review planned for Peru oil refinery
Peru’s national oil company Petroperú launched bidding to conduct an environmental evaluation of the 15,500b/d Conchán refinery.
Conchán is in Lurín, south of Lima, and is one of the NOC’s three refineries in operation, the others being Talara (95,000b/d) and Iquitos (12,000b/d).
The work is designed to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure compliance with environmental norms.
Offers for the 120-day contract are due January 22, according to procurement information available here, using code SEL-PROC-38-2024-OPC / PETROPERU-1 (place the code in the Sigla Nomenclatura box after clicking on Búsqueda Avanzada).
Meanwhile, Petroperú extended to January 16 the deadline to submit quotes for work to support Talara operations.
The contract entails services for the preparation of engineering and inspection for compliance with condition-based maintenance of infrastructure and structures, among other tasks.
