This May 2, 2024, EP Petroecuador, through the Transportation Management, signed a contract with Ecopetrol SA for the provision of crude oil transportation service through the San Miguel – Lago Agrio (OSLA) and Transecuatoriano (SOTE) pipelines. ).

This contract will be valid for three years. It will allow an initial average of 13,250 barrels of Colombian crude oil to be pumped through the Ecuadorian pipelines, operated by the public oil company, with an assigned capacity of up to 22,000 barrels per day, by charging an approximate rate of USD 3.0455 per barrel, for the benefit of the Ecuadorian State.

Through these actions, joint work between both countries is strengthened, based on the binational agreements in force to promote and facilitate the transportation and export of hydrocarbons.
