The Executive Branch appointed José Mantilla Castillo as Chairman of the Board of Directors of PERUPETRO SA through Supreme Resolution No. 013-2024-EM, published today in the newspaper El Peruano.
Mantilla Castillo is a business administrator with more than 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He has worked in the private and public sectors managing commercial and operations teams, business development, strategy and quality management in national and transnational companies in the hydrocarbon sector.
He also holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, as well as specialization in energy efficiency, project management, strategic planning and leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
He is a member of Woman in Energy, a professor at the Graduate School of the University of Lima and in the in-house programs of FRIESAN. He is also a university professor at the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola.
PERUPETRO SA is a private state-owned company responsible for the administration of hydrocarbon resources for their sustainable use for the benefit of the country.
