Financing nod for Peru oil terminals
Peru upstream operator Unna Energía and tank storage logistics provider Oiltanking Peru have secured financing for up to US$40mn in benefit of Terminales del Perú.
Local infrastructure group Aenza, Unna's parent, provided the information in a regulatory filing.
"The funds from this financing will be used to continue financing additional investments that Terminales del Perú must make through 2026 within the framework of the operating contracts for the northern and central terminals signed with Petróleos del Perú," said Aenza.
The lenders are BD Crédito and Banco BCI Perú and the financing will be disbursed over 24 months and repaid within seven years of the first disbursement.
The fulfillment of the obligations arising from the transaction is guaranteed by a cash flow trust.
Aenza did not immediately respond to a request for information regarding the investments at the terminals.
