Following asset shuffle, Grenergy says it's not leaving Peru
Madrid-based Grenergy Renovables has no plans to leave Peru amid the company’s rotation of assets, according to chief executive David Ruiz.
Ruiz made the comment during the company’s 2023 results presentation in reference to Grenergy’s recent announcement that it will offload certain wind and solar assets in the country, deals for which are due to close this half.

He said that Grenergy is concentrating on new projects and PPAs in Peru and expects activity to gain traction in 2025-26.
The company’s development pipeline in the South American nation includes 444MW of early stage solar and 600MW of identified solar opportunities.
