The bidders are Infrastructure Projects Concessionaire, Peru Branch; Equans Services Peru SA, Iberian Maintenance SA, Peru Branch; IBT Health LLC; Ortiz Construction and Projects SA, Peru Branch and Mexican Infrastructure Developer and Promoter, SA de CV.
Likewise, the agency has received inquiries from companies and consortia interested in Group 4 of electrical projects (includes three) with a cost of US$ 101 million and that will benefit more than 700 ml people in Ucayali, Junín and Áncash.
PROINVERSIÓN Executive Director José Salardi highlighted the renewed interest of investors in long-term public-private projects in Peru, because it reflects the work that the government, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the agency have been doing to promote projects that allow reducing gaps in infrastructure and services in the country.
In this regard, the agency organized and held around 20 events to promote public-private investments between January and August 2024, in which more than 1,200 representatives from the public and private sectors participated to promote investments in electricity, health, transportation, sanitation, among others.
During the same period, the agency held 139 bilateral meetings with 113 construction companies, operators, banks, consultants, among others.
