Grenergy has today presented its new brand image, reaffirming its strategic commitment to lead the energy storage sector globally.
To achieve its goal, the company has presented a $2.6 billion investment plan between 2023 and 2026, with a strong focus on storage, which underlines its commitment to moving towards a more sustainable and efficient energy model, based on offering a stable energy supply.
Green must go on is the idea that encapsulates its new brand identity. With 18 years of continuous growth history, the company is now ready to go further and play a fundamental role in the transformation of the sector, ensuring a clean, affordable and constant supply of energy thanks to its leadership in energy storage. Therefore, its new motto is On and On, which aims to convey the idea that Grenergy never stops, nor does its ability to offer energy.
Its new, more elegant and technological image is inspired by both chlorophyll, which is capable of collecting energy from sunlight and providing continuous life, and batteries and their cells.
In terms of design, the brand adopts an innovative graphic approach starting from simplicity and using contemporary fonts and visual elements that reflect its commitment to sustainability.
The new verbal strategy, for its part, is based on key messages such as Always green, forever energy and On and on, which highlight the continuity and reliability of green energy. In addition, they seek to differentiate the company not only by what it does, but by how it does it, combining a consolidated track record in the market as a listed company with the entrepreneurial spirit with which it was born.
Grenergy has entrusted creative agency Erretres to develop its new visual and verbal identity.
"With our new brand, we seek to reflect our continued growth, maintaining the same ambition with which Grenergy was born 18 years ago. We aspire to be a global benchmark, demonstrating our leadership in storage and providing highly competitive and sustainable solar energy 24 hours a day," says David Ruiz de Andrés, President and CEO of Grenergy.
For Daniel Lozano, Director of Strategy at Grenergy: “In recent years we have reached another dimension, with a global presence, achieving a significant socioeconomic impact wherever we operate. We needed a brand that would better communicate our reality, and be aligned with our strategy and positioning."
Bet on energy storage
With a global portfolio exceeding 25GWh of storage capacity and 15.6GW of solar, Grenergy has become a key player in the storage industry. An example of this is its flagship Oasis de Atacama project in Chile, with a capacity of 11GWh of storage and 2GW of solar photovoltaic generation, it is considered the largest battery project in the world.
The company wants to continue replicating this successful model in Chile and replicate it in other markets in Latin America, Europe and the United States in the coming years.
