Grupo Softland acquires Spain's Toolent

Spanish and Latin American ERP software company Gupo Softland has acquired Spanish talent management software developer Toolent, according to a statement.

"By integrating Toolents solutions to our portfolio, we continue to add value and provide to our customers solutions that help them align strategy and overall objectives of their organizations, with the ability to measure performance, promote talent and manage the individual objectives of their most important asset, their colleagues," Softland Group's CEO Oscar Saez de Bergia said.

Teresa Morales, founder of Toolents, said the integration into Softland coincided with international expansion plans.

The tools are available for 100% web environments and from public clouds and on-premise platforms.

Grupo Softland has 35,000 clients and units in 10 countries in Latin America: Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, México, Panama, Peru and the Dominican Republic.

The company posted US$35mn in Latin American revenues in 2014, growth of 18% compared with 2013. Colombia, Argentina and Chile led growth.
