Guyana issues power grid EPC, capital financing call
Guyana Power and Light (GPL) is accepting expressions of interest (EOIs) to prequalify for project engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and/or financing.
The dispatch works are for the Demerara Berbice interconnected system (DBIS), the country’s largest grid.
The required goods and services are divided into eight lots and include over 200km of lines, mobile substations, battery energy storage systems, advanced metering infrastructure, and the overhaul of substations.
The deadline to submit EOIs to the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board is June 20, the same day EOIs will be opened. Qualified bidders will receive details for the next stage - request for bids.
