Honduras is working on a bill that will order fuel importation, distribution and marketing
This National Congress of Honduras release was published using machine translation.
The Mining and Hydrocarbons Commission of the National Congress met Wednesday with the Honduran Council of Private Enterprise (COHEP) with those who worked on the draft Regulatory Framework Law for the Marketing of Fuels.
The law would come, in general terms, to establish an order on the subject of importation, distribution and commercialization of fuels in the country, with the objective of having a better quality in this area.
According to the deputy Cesar Handal, president of the commission, has begun to meet, jointly, with the sectors related to the field of fuels in the country.
"To COHEP, especially to the representatives of the companies in the fuel sector, we have presented important advances in the work of this bill, which is already in its last stage," he said.
In the coming weeks we will be presenting you with a first draft of the bill, ”added Handal.
For his part, Gustavo Solórzano, legal representative of COHEP, was confident that the National Congress commission will do a satisfactory job.
“We have joined the commission's work with all the representatives of the COHEP fuel line. Today we make contributions and suggestions of a general nature that we hope will be taken into account and we trust that the work done from the CN will be to everyone's satisfaction, ”he said.
