IN BRIEF: Brazil to up biodiesel admixture
A bill to increase the biodiesel admixture in Brazil will go to the president for signing after the lower house approved the change.
The percentage will increase to 8%, from 7% currently, up to a year after the law's publication and to 10% after 36 months, the house said in a statement. An increase to 15% also is envisioned if tests prove positive and after approval from national energy policy board CNPE.
Biodiesel sales in Brazil last year rose 17.4% 4.01Bl.
