IN BRIEF: MEO to relaunch as Melbana Energy
Shareholders of MEO Australia approved a proposal to change the company's name to Melbana Energy, the Melbourne-based firm said in a press release.
The company will change its ASX ticker to MAY following the selection of the new name, it said.
MEO announced in October it is planning to drill a well at block 9 in Cuba (in illustration) in the first quarter of 2018. The block is part of an onshore field covering 2,380km2 and was awarded to MEO in September 2015 for a 25-year term.
