IN BRIEF: Tractebel changes name to Engie Brasil Energia

The shareholders of Brazil's Tractebel have voted to change the company's name to Engie Brasil Energia, according to a stock exchange filing on Thursday.

Controlled by French group Engie, Tractebel is Brazil's largest private electricity generator with more than 7GW of installed capacity, about 5.4% of the country's total.

Its portfolio includes 28 plants: nine hydropower, eight thermoelectric, seven wind, three small hydropower and one solar.
