IN BRIEF: XL appoints new board member
XL Group has appointed Edward Kelly III to its board of directors, the company said in a release.
Kelly has held numerous positions with US-based CitiGroup, including CFO, head of global banking and chairman of Citi's institutional clients group, and was also general counsel and secretary of JP Morgan as well as managing director of the Carlyle Group.
Dublin-based XL Group specializes in P&C insurance and reinsurance with a client base in over 140 countries. In Latin America, the group has offices in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico.
