The Ministry of Public Works, through National Roads, reports that on Tuesday, October 10, the work of duplicating the roadway on National Route 1v38 was awarded to the company Paolini Hermanos SA with an investment amount of $18,412,729,113.13 per part of the national government.

This work that will transform the corridor into a highway foresees an execution period of 36 months in which the construction of basic work, pavement, bridges and complementary works of Section IV will be carried out, included between the access distributor to the city de Monteros and the junction distributor between national routes 1V38 and 38, north of the city of Famaillá. The intervention will take place over 21.2 kilometers (see photo).

Likewise, the work will include the execution of a level return, nine bridges over provincial routes and riverbeds, and six low-level transversal crossings type “cañero crossing” over the local road.

The planned works plan to improve safety conditions and provide greater comfort to the more than 6,500 vehicles that travel through the area daily.

RN 38 begins in the province of Córdoba, on National Route 20, and ends in San Miguel de Tucumán. The awarded section corresponds to the northern sector of the corridor, in the province of Tucumán.
