Indotel presents to media representatives updated transition plan to Digital Terrestrial Television

The head of Indotel emphasized that the bidding process for the acquisition and delivery of the converter boxes has already been launched, and that the proposals are currently being evaluated. He also reported that the winners will be announced in the coming days.
During the event, the first phase of the advertising campaign was also presented to the media, with which the arrival of Digital Terrestrial Television will be announced to the country.
Likewise, the engineer Álvaro Nadal, technical advisor to the Indotel Executive Directorate, made a presentation in which he explained to those present the entire procedure and regulations on how the transition from analog to digital signal will be implemented.
The start date for the transmission of Digital Terrestrial Television has a deadline of December 31, 2023.
