Jamaican national water commission tenders treatment plant consultancy

Jamaica's national water commission, NWC, has published a tender for engineering consultation services in relation to the rehabilitation of 13 wastewater treatment plants, according to the tender notice. The winning bidder will be required, among other things, to review and approve designs and technical specifications and contract necessary administration and resident engineering services to ensure completion of works under the terms of the contracts. The wastewater treatment plants are located in Acadia, Bay Farm Villas, Blackwood Gardens, Boscobel, Dela -Vega City, Elletson Flats, Ensom City, Hughenden, Lionel Town, Longville Park, Paisley Pen, Red Hills Pen and Shrewsbury. The IDB has provided a grant to finance the consultancy services that are expected to wrap up in 12 months. Interested bidders must submit their proposals by October 31 and further details are available on the UN's Development Business website here.
