Vancouver's Condor Resources concluded a long-term exploration and exploitation agreement with the community near its Chavin project in Peru's Áncash department, the company said in a press release.
With the community agreement in place through Condor's local subsidiary, the operator has advised it is proceeding with the permitting application and plan to explore for bulk tonnage and disseminated targets, and develop tunnels along the principal vein.

Vancouver's Luna Gold entered into an exploration agreement with AngloGold Ashanti for the company's greenfield mineral claims that surround its past-producing Aurizona gold mine in northern Brazil.
Under the terms, AngloGold Ashanti is required to invest US$14mn in exploration over four years to earn a 70% interest in the claims, according to a statement.

Calgary-based Antioquia Gold agreed with Infinita Prosperidad Minera not to proceed with a previously announced shares for debt transaction, a statement from Antioquia said.
The company will continue to focus on the development of its core Cisneros project in Colombia and will review alternative financing options.
