Karib Cable to launch advanced network in Barbados

Karib Cable will design, build and operate a fiber optic network, offering broadband internet access, cable television and fixed line telephone services in Barbados. The provider currently operates in three countries and seven islands spanning a large portion of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States and catering to more than 50,000 regional customers. The company is set to provide services to both corporate and residential Barbadian customers and will make its offering via one cable, which can provide all three services. Karib expects to create more than 200 new jobs and an investment of 65mn Barbados dollars (US$32.5mn) into the economy.
