Lateegra raising cash to feed El Tigre

Canada's Lateegra Resources (TSX-V: LEG) announced it has entered into a Cdn$1.75mn (US$1.34mn) private placement agreement with Canaccord Capital to help finance exploration at its El Tigre gold-silver property in northern Mexico's Sonora state. The agreement entails placing up to 7 million units at Cdn$0.25 apiece, subject to approval by Toronto's venture exchange, the company said. El Tigre exploration is under way, consisting initially of mapping and sampling. Canaccord will receive a cash commission and agent's warrant of 8% and 10% for units placed, respectively. Money raised will also support exploration of Lateegra's Canadian properties, and will boost general working capital, the company said.
