Local firm, Chinese top bidders for Bolivia seismic work
Bolivia’s state hydrocarbons company YPFB updated procurement calls to advance exploration.
Local firm Servipro Geodeep is the top ranked participant to acquire seismic in the Tatarenda area of Santa Cruz department. The contract entails shooting 155km of 2D lines.
And Sinopec International Petroleum Service Ecuador is the top bidder to further process seismic data gathered in the Boomerang Norte area in the Tarija basin.
For its part, DeGolyer & MacNaughton qualified as the sole participant to evaluate unconventional areas in Warnes province, Santa Cruz department.
Meanwhile, Geomap and Servipro III, the only groups to submit offers to update modeling for the Boomerang area, were disqualified.
