The Ministry of Energy and Mines (MINEM), as administrator of the Energy Social Inclusion Fund (FISE), has programs that promote access to clean energy through social compensation, allowing the most vulnerable families to have natural gas service. or with FISE Discount Vouchers.

This program allows beneficiary families to purchase an LPG cylinder, up to 10 kg, with a discount of 20 soles, and in the case of the 15,449 social institutions served, the compensation reaches up to 43 soles.

The MINEM has managed the issuance of regulatory provisions that allow optimizing the benefit of the FISE Discount Voucher, such as: increase in the electrical energy consumption threshold from 42 to 70 Kwh and the increase in the economic value to S/ 43, S/ 63 and S/ 80 according to prioritization.

The Government promotes the widespread use of natural gas, in this stage of energy transition, which seeks to reduce dependence on fossil fuels in homes, transportation and economic activities.
