In relation to the sources of electricity generation, the hydroelectric plants produced 1,773 GWh in this period, while the thermal units, which only use natural gas as a resource, registered 2,871 GWh, that is, 14% more than what was produced. in the same period last year.

Finally, the technical report indicates that, in terms of generation with non-conventional renewable energy resources (RER) (solar, wind, bagasse and biogas), at the end of the seventh month of the year accumulated production of 307 GWh, that is, 6% more than that registered in the same period of 2022.

This amount of energy represents 6% of national production during the period analyzed.
