The new facility will require an investment of US$56.7 million and includes the expansion of the passenger terminal from 4,360 to 13,260 m2, tripling its surface area.

The project includes 2 new boarding bridges (currently there are none); 3 baggage carousels; 4 inspection machines and 16 counters for airlines.
