According to ministerial resolution No. 2218, the prequalified consortia are: Desarrollo Vial al Sur (Sacyr Concesiones SL and Ocho A SA); Mercosur Routes (Tecnoedil SA, Alya Constructora SA, Construpar SA and Semisa Infraestructura SA); AG – Tocsa (AG Construções e Serviços SA and Tocsa SA); Rutas del Sur (Cointer Concesiones SL, Azvi SAU and Constructora Heisecke SA); and Rutas del Sur (Acciona Concesiones SL, Rovella Carranza SA and Concret Mix SA), thus involving a total of 14 firms, including from Brazil, Argentina and Spain.

Section 2A contemplates the duplication of 24.1 kilometers of the route that begins in Ytororó and ends in the city of Itá, with 4 links in San Antonio, Ypané, Guarambaré and Itá.
