Hispasat has signed an agreement with Netlife, the first fiber operator in Ecuador, through which it will incorporate, under the name Netlife Play, Hispasat's Wave OTT Plus white label platform. Thanks to this turnkey as a service solution, Netlife will provide its clients with a high-quality multi-screen entertainment service, without the need to have deployed its own infrastructure and reducing both the initial investment and the time required for its launch.

Ignacio Sanchis, commercial director of Hispasat, stated that “we are very proud of the trust that an operator like Netlife has placed in our Wave OTT Plus solution. We believe it is the ideal solution for operators like Netlife to quickly offer their customers a comprehensive OTT video service.”

Xavier Moreano, national marketing manager at Netlife, added that “the powerful turnkey solution proposed by Hispasat through Wave OTT Plus has allowed the launch of Netlife Play in a simple and efficient way to reinforce our offer with a highly attractive incentive for our clients."

Wave OTT Plus combines HISPASAT's OTT as a service video distribution technology platform with linear content rights and an attractive video-on-demand catalogue. The service includes more than 50 international linear channels, series, movies and other premium content provided by the world's leading programmers. In addition, Wave OTT Plus incorporates the most important national channels from each country.

This white label platform is available to telecommunications operators and internet service providers (ISPs) in all Spanish-speaking countries in South America and it will also soon be offered in Brazil.
