Northair retakes Sierra Rosario

Vancouver-based International Northair Mines (TSX-V: INM) has regained a 100% interest in the Sierra Rosario gold-silver property in Mexico's Sinaloa state by giving a default notice to the property optionee, the company announced. Sierra Rosario contains six known gold and silver mineralization zones, of which one, San Rafael, has already undergone geological mapping and sampling. The company aims to explore the remaining zones, where grab samples have returned up to 5.48g/t gold, it said. Twenty-three samples along San Rafael returned on average 0.32g/t gold and 181g/t silver over roughly 15m. "This sampling indicates the potential for bulk tonnage silver/gold deposit and additional work is warranted," the company said. Including Sierra Rosario, Northair holds four prospective properties in Mexico's Sierra Madres: El Tesoro, El Tropical and the recently acquired Las Moras. Mechanical trenching is underway at El Tesoro in anticipation of a drill program, and exploration is planned for Las Moras.
