NWC tenders construction of wastewater treatment plants

Jamaica's national water commission ( NWC) has tendered the design, construction and operation of two wastewater treatment plants, according to a notice on the UN's tender portal Development Business. The wastewater treatment plants will replace the Boscobel and Elletson Flats plants in the parishes of St Mary and St Andrew, according to the tender. Interested parties can obtain the bid documents from August 9 and a pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 6. The deadline for submission of bids is November 15. IDB has provided a non-reimbursable technical cooperation grant to the government of Jamaica to carry out the works. The amount of the grant has not been disclosed. For more details, use this link
