The Minister of Hydrocarbons and Energy, Alejandro Gallardo, appointed on Monday Eng. Omar Alarcón Saigua as the new executive president of the National Strategic Public Company of Bolivian Lithium Deposits (YLB), replacing Karla Calderón.

In recent months, he has been tasked with initiating the execution of one of the most important projects in the country, the implementation of the first biofuel plants in La Paz and Santa Cruz.
