OTI starts gasoline payment scheme

California-based On Track Innovations (OTI) has installed its first EasyFuel wireless petroleum payment solution in Mexico, and plans to install the system in 57 service stations in the Corpogas chain, the company said in a statement Tuesday. OTI works in contactless microprocessor-based smart card solutions, and in Mexico is working with local support and marketing service company Tanque Lleno. EasyFuel will increase service speed by attendants and eliminate fraud. Tanque Lleno plans to expand the network to more gas stations and fleets that have expressed interest in the EasyFuel system in 2004 , the statement said.
