PRESS RELEASE from Pampa Energía
6 de septiembre de 2024
Buenos Aires, September 6, 2024. Pampa Energía S.A. ('Pampa' or the 'Company'; NYSE: PAM; ByMA: PAMP) announces that yesterday completed the repurchase at par of Series 1 Notes due in 2027, issued on January 24, 2017, with a face value of US$750 million and a fixed rate of 7.5%. The repurchase, announced on August 26, 2024, covered approximately 53% of the total, amounting to US$397 million. For further information, click here.
The funds for this repurchase were sourced from the successful placement of Series 21 Notes, with a face value of US$410 million, an annual fixed interest rate of 7.95%, and a yield of 8.25%, maturing on September 10, 2031. This international issuance received offers exceeding US$1.6 billion from leading institutional investors.
Gustavo Mariani, CEO of Pampa, stated: 'This placement is a source of pride for our team, which, through tremendous effort, secured the lowest rate for an Argentine issuer since 2018. It reaffirms Pampa's financial strength and the confidence investors have in our Company'.
This transaction enhances Pampa's debt profile ahead of significant upcoming investments in Vaca Muerta, particularly in developing the shale oil block, Rincón de Aranda.
