Panama's metro line construction to begin early 2015

Work on line No. 2 of Panama City's metro will kick off in February or March 2015, according to local press reports.

The government will launch the tender for the construction contract on September 15, the reports said.

Meanwhile, metro station Lotería on line No. 1 has been completed while stations El Ingenio and San Isidro will be finished at the end of the year.

Line 1's San Isidro extension is expected to start operating in the first months of 2015.
