The work will be carried out in 4 lots that make up a 221 km road, of which 193.3 km correspond to the main axis; 7 km to urban crossings and 21 km to ring roads of adjacent towns. Lot 1 is 44 km; Lot 2: 48 km; Lot 3: 53 km and Lot 4: 48.3 km.

It is estimated that the new paved road will benefit more than 150,000 people directly, including the inhabitants of the cities of Pedro Juan Caballero, Capitán Bado, Itanará and Ypejhú; highly productive areas of the country, but which lack the necessary infrastructure to boost the local economy and improve the quality of life of the inhabitants.

SCOPE OF CONTRACTS AND DEADLINES

The contract for the new road covers different elements depending on the environment in which the road is located: currently it consists of a dirt road of variable width that does not have a defined platform and with minimal drainage works (culverts, unlined gutters). This road will serve as an auxiliary service road during the construction stage. The width of the current domain strip is variable and is between 20 to 30 meters.

The planned route will be developed practically parallel to the auxiliary service road, providing for clearing, clearing and cleaning. The width of the proposed domain strip is 50 meters in rural areas and in urban areas according to the available width.

The period for the execution of the cadastre and appraisal will be 6 calendar months, counted from the order to start the contract, while for the construction of the road works it will be 24 calendar months, counted from the date of the order. physical start.

Finally, the execution of Maintenance by Service Levels will be 60 calendar months, counted from the issuance of the acceptance certificate of the construction works.
