With a view to modernizing the public transportation system in Paraguay, the technical team of the Vice Ministry of Transportation held a meeting this Monday with the delegation of the Taiwanese company Master Bus that is visiting our country.

The day included a tour of possible locations for charging and parking points for the electric buses that will be donated by the Republic of China (Taiwan). “Today we are examining potential locations in government offices and in San Lorenzo to ensure that we meet all technical and logistical requirements,” explained Vice Minister of Transportation, Emiliano R. Fernández.

In this context, he highlighted the relevance of these meetings to perfect the essential details and incorporate electric buses into the national vehicle fleet. “We are working in coordination with the Itaipú Technology Park, ANDE and the Faculty of Engineering of the UNA, also with other departments of the MOPC, such as the Vice Ministry of Mines and Energy, the Directorate of Roads and the Directorate of Strategic Projects, to guarantee a successful implementation in the design and adaptation of infrastructure,” he stated.

With this initiative, Paraguay moves towards the modernization of public transportation, adopting environmentally friendly technology and promoting sustainability in this sector. Thanks to the cooperation with the Republic of China (Taiwan), our country will benefit from the acquisition of 30 electric buses, marking an important step towards a cleaner and more efficient future in urban mobility.
