Parquesoft Cali receives ISO 9001 certification

The Cali branch of Colombian IT parks network Parquesoft has received ISO 9001 certification, according to local newspaper El País. Local certifier Icontec issued the award for Parquesoft's quality management systems. With the ISO certification, Parquesoft becomes the first IT incubator in Colombia to certify its quality processes. Parquesoft Cali has been operating for five years to create and develop IT products and services companies. The IT park network has secured alliances with local and multinational companies that will include local software in their products. Parquesoft has now eight parks operating in Colombia and expects to open four new facilities within the year.
