Bnamericas
Brazilian natural gas distributor PBGas will invest 50mn reais (US$17mn) to build a 120km pipeline in the northeast state of Paraiba, the Paraiba government news service reported. PBGas is controlled by Paraiba state government and Gaspetro, a unit of federal energy company Petrobras. Construction should start in two weeks and wrap up early next year, the report said. The pipeline will take the gas to the town of Campina Grandeas as part of a project to expand gas supply in the interior of the state. PBGas will also build 22km extension of the pipeline to supply gas to at least 10 industries and 15 vehicular natural gas (VNG) outlets, local press reported.
