PCR assigns Transmantaro bond rating

Peruvian credit ratings agency Pacific Credit Ratings (PCR) has assigned its pAA+ rating to corporate bonds issued by the Transmantaro power transmission consortium, PCR said in a statement Friday. The rating considers Transmantaro's majority ownership by Canada's Hydro Quebec, and its build-own-operate-transfer (BOOT) contract with Peru's government to design, build and operate the Mantaro-Socabaya transmission line for 33 years.
