Meanwhile, an investment of S / 184 360 799.45 is estimated for the works in Quebrada San Carlos, which will impact the quality of life of 27 328 people in the districts and populated centers of Laredo, San Carlos, San Ildefonso, Galindo, Caballo. Muerto, Laredo Alto, Las Uvas and José Pinedo.

This project has planned the construction of protection structures (transverse dikes for sediment retention and slope reduction), channeling and protection of streams, and the protection structure of the Moche River.
