Peru natural gas output rebounds, crude dips
Peru natural gas production rose 15% sequentially in February to 37.5Mm3/d, according to numbers from hydrocarbons licensing authority Perupetro.
The bulk of gas comes from blocks 88, 57 and 56, which saw sequential output increase 14.5%, 33% and 4%, respectively, to 21Mm3/d, 7.39Mm3/d and 7.34Mm3/d.
Previous production was impacted in part by a gas supply contingency due to heavy rains which damaged transport infrastructure.

Meanwhile, February oil production slid 2% sequentially to 45,819b/d.
Block 95 accounted for nearly half of output with 22,021b/d, followed by the other top producers blocks X (7,839b/d) and Z-69 (3,809b/d).
