Peru power generator relaunches hydro project tenders

Peru power generator Empresa de Generación Eléctrica San Gabán (EGESG) has issued new calls for a project to optimize output at its 110MW San Gabán II hydro.

One tender is for the definitive study and technical file of a dam at 4,500m above sea level in the Ninahuisa river basin and a second process for the supervision of the 180-day consultancy work.

The original processes were declared void after the sole bidder for the study – Consorcio Presa Ninahuisa (Jaime Pacheco Laura-HZP Consultores) – did not fulfill qualification requirements and no offers were submitted for the supervision work.

Groups that registered for the study were Vitor Benavente Fortunato Jose; Dessau S&Z; Servicio de Consultores Andinos; Asesores Ingenieros Proyectistas; ID Ingenieria & Desarrollo; Boza Consultores y Contratistas; HZP Consultores; Consultoria, Constructora y Proveedores en General Pales; Asistencia Tecnica y Juridica Consultores; Changjiang Institute of Survey, Planning, Design and Research; Rail Way Ingenieria y Caminos; and Fichtner.

And Colla Supo Ismael; HZP Consultores; Consultoria, Constructora y Proveedores en General Pales; Latin Swiss Hydro; and Fichtner registered for the supervision contract.

The planned infrastructure aims to improve flow to the plant and according to preliminary information, the 31m-high, 8m-wide (at the crown) concrete face rockfill dam would hold 22Mm3.

Offers for both contracts are due January 5, according to procurement information available here using number 682616 for the definitive study and 682625 for the supervision (place the numbers in the “Identificador Convocatoria” box after clicking on “Búsqueda Avanzada”).
