Peru power supply call in the pipeline

Enel Distribución Perú, which serves Lima together with Luz del Sur, has announced plans to procure electricity for supply to regulated users.
The power purchase agreements will run for three years starting January 1, 2026 and fall under law 28832 which governs the guarantee of efficient power generation development.
According to the tentative schedule for process ED-01-2023-LP, the presentation of prequalification envelopes will be in May with offers due and awarding expected to take place in June.
Procurement information from energy and mining investment regulator Osinergmin is available here and in the Documents box in the top right corner.
For its part, the energy and mines ministry granted permanent occupancy easement to Joya Solar for the 220kV San Martín Solar-San José transmission line project in Arequipa region.
Joya Solar is developing the 252MW San Martín photovoltaic park.
And Moody’s maintained state power producer Electroperú’s rating at 'AAA.pe' with a stable outlook.
