Peru scoping market for refinery engineering, inspection service
Peru’s national oil company Petroperú is accepting quotes to support operations of the new 95,000b/d Talara refinery.
The work entails service for the preparation of engineering and inspection for compliance with condition-based maintenance of infrastructure and structures.
Tasks include studies to verify the quality of structures, analysis and review of documents, drafting technical information required by regulators such as OEFA and Osinergmin, and tank inspections.
Quotes for the 730-day contract are due on December 13, according to procurement information available in the Documents box in the top right corner.
In October, Talara was the country’s second highest fuel producer with 87,550b/d after Repsol’s La Pampilla (105,220b/d), energy and mines ministry information shows.
Output at Petroperu’s other refineries Conchan and Iquitos was 12,750b/d and 4,790b/d, respectively.
