Peru seeks consultant for Talara refinery work

Peru’s national oil company Petroperú launched bidding to improve the quality of fuel produced at the 95,000b/d Talara refinery.

The work entails making adjustments at the engineering, procurement and construction level to produce diesel and gasoline with maximum sulfur content of 10 parts per million.

The overhaul will target the diesel hydrotreating and FCC naphtha hydrotreatment units.

Offers for the 730-contract are due by January 21, according to procurement information.

Petroperú also has calls underway to support Talara operations and to conduct an environmental evaluation of its 15,500b/d Conchán refinery.
