Peru to procure production management platform for Talara refinery
Peru’s national oil company Petroperú launched bidding for a programming tool to support the production management system of the new 95,000b/d Talara refinery.
The work entails the supply and implementation of an informatics platform for the plant’s processing and storage units.
Offers for the 3.5-year contract are due by September 4, according to procurement information available in the Documents box in the upper right corner of the screen. A referential estimated amount was not disclosed.
The NOC also reported that it will soon start the sale of sulfuric acid which will be produced from the refinery.

Production ministry data shows that sulfuric acid production in the country in January-May rose 11% year-on-year to 793,218t.
The commissioning of Talara's conversion units is due to take place this quarter.
