The following is a machine translation of a Perupetro release

PERUPETRO SA announced today the process of calling for investors for lots I and VI, located in the Talara basin (Piura), for a period of 30 years, thus ensuring the continuity of oil operations in the northwest of the country.

Lots I and VI are currently operated by Petroperú through a Temporary License Agreement for a period of 24 months or whichever occurs first (bidding process).

Lot I has an average production of 500 barrels of oil per day (bpd), while in Lot VI the average production amounts to 2,000 bpd.

According to the rules of the process, the winner of the bidding process will be the company that offers the best Work Program above the minimum established by PERUPETRO, that is, the highest investment commitments for the drilling of development and exploration wells.

In the case of Lot I, PERUPETRO has established a minimum program of 64 well reconditionings, 32 development wells and one exploratory well and, for Lot VI, 33 well reconditionings, 71 development wells and one exploratory well.

In addition, the bases consider greater weight to the offers when the investment is made in the first years of the License Contract.

PERUPETRO said that this is a public and transparent process in which interested companies will be able to submit their offers and compete on equal terms.

According to the announced schedule, the presentation of offers will take place on February 10, 2025, and the awarding of the contract will take place on February 17 of the same year.

The bases of the call process are published on the PERUPETRO website www.perupetro.com.pe , and are freely accessible to all interested parties.

PERUPETRO also reported that, in strict compliance with the Regulations for Citizen Participation for the realization of Hydrocarbon Activities, in-person events were held in the districts of La Brea, Pariñas and Lobitos (Talara) during June of this year. In these workshops, information was provided to authorities, grassroots organizations, neighborhood councils and the general population regarding the future development of both lots.
