Petrobras seeking bids to build solar plant at refinery

Brazil's federal oil firm Petrobras has launched a tender for the construction of a PV solar power plant at its Paulínia refinery (Replan) in São Paulo state. 

The process calls for the contracting of executive project services, civil construction, electromechanical assembly, commissioning, as well as the supply of materials and equipment for the implementation of the U-7505 photovoltaic power generation unit and the respective interconnections and adjustments in the other Replan systems.

U-7505 will generate electricity through a photovoltaic module plant with installed capacity of 20MW in alternating current. It will be fed into Replan's electrical system through a substation.

The tender documents are available on Petrobras' procurement website Petronect, under ID number 7004415567. 

In December 2024, Petrobras launched a tender for the construction of a PV solar power plant at its Abreu e Lima (RNEST) refinery in Pernambuco state. 

The bids were received at the end of February. LCD Engenharia, Construções, Montagens e Manutencoes Industriais submitted the lowest bid: 59.7mn reais.
