Petrobras signs 26 concession contracts in the Pelotas Basin
Petrobras , in continuation of the Notice to the Market of 12/13/2023, informs that it has entered into 26 Concession Contracts of the 4th Bidding Cycle of the Permanent Offer, acquired in partnership with Shell in the public session held by ANP in December 2023. The consortium will have Petrobras as operator, with a 70% stake, and Shell with a 30% stake.
The contracts refer to blocks PM-1277 , PM-1279 , PM-1281 , PM-1361, P-M-1363, PM-1441, PM-1443 , PM-1357, PM-1359, PM-1439, PM-1516, PM-1518, PM-1595, PM-1597, PM-1793 , PM-1795 , PM-1838 , PM-1840 , PM-1520 , PM-1522 , PM-1599 , PM-1674 , PM-1676 , PM-1678, PM-1743 , PM-1799 .
In this auction of the 4th Bidding Cycle of the Permanent Offer, Petrobras also acquired three other blocks in partnership, the contracts for which will be signed later according to the ANP calendar.
The signing of these contracts is in line with the company's long-term strategy aimed at portfolio diversification; and strengthens Petrobras' profile as the main operator of oil fields located in deep and ultra-deep waters, boosting the replenishment of reserves for the future.
