Petrobras starts Tres Lagoas tests

Brazil's federal energy company Petrobras will start tests Saturday of its 240MW Tres Lagoas thermoelectric project in Mato Grosso do Sul state, newspaper Correio do Estado reported. This stage of final tests runs through November 4, after when the plant will only restart once federal environmental agency Ibama gives it a commercial operations license.
